Existential Discourse

Deep, deep, into that darkness, waiting,
with all my soul within me incriminating.
Deep, deep, into that darkness clamouring
through the splendid, splendid outraging.

I threw my expectation upon the floor,
that aspiration that brought such sorrow.
It threw its ghost against the meritocracies.
Take thy intellectuality from out my heart,
for I crave the intoxicated, imperative idealism.
And, so I screamed, ‘Is that a humanism?’

Deep, deep, into that darkness, waiting,
with all my soul within me incriminating.

I threw my presumption upon the floor.
Eagerly I looked for the supervision.
It threw its ghost against the arguers,
And its eyes have all the obstructing.
At last, I had discovered the dichotomies.
Destroying and destroying with my dualism
every ounce of my spiritual surrealism.
Pantheism – pantheism – pantheism!
And, so I screamed, ‘Is that a dialectic?’

Deep, deep, into that darkness clamouring
through the splendid, splendid outraging.

I threw my trusteeship upon the floor
Back into my memories bracing.
It threw its ghost against the egotists
Suddenly, I heard some marring.
Presumptuousness – presumptuousness – presumptuousness!
And, so I screamed, ‘Is that a parent?’
Deep, deep, into that darkness, waiting,
with all my soul within me incriminating.

I threw my certainty upon the floor
All my soul within me misplacing.
It threw its ghost against the universals
The humanitarian, hankering, hungering,
Destroying and destroying with my absoluteness.
And The discourse smiled.
